We are a two-person letterpress studio working on three restored platen presses. Short-run editions, plates, and stationery — set in metal and photopolymer, printed slowly.

Polymer from pencil originals, printed two colours on damp Somerset Book Wove, sewn into a soft wrapper.

Foil and blind for binders

Spine titling and blind stamping for three regional binderies. Brass and magnesium dies, sizes to 120 by 60 millimetres.

Deep impression on 600gsm cotton, edge painted by hand. Set in Caslon and Grotesque No. 9.

The shop, briefly

Two Heidelberg platens and an Arab treadle press, roughly four tonnes of equipment in a room that was once a net loft. We cast nothing ourselves; metal comes from two remaining foundries and from swaps with other shops.
